Grammar police

Seen on a web site:

"Job Description
Shift: First
Wage: $28,000 / year or commiserate with experience. "

Read in a book:

"trying to ween herself off cigarettes...."

Read in a book, referring to a quote earlier in the text:

" as eluded to in the above passage by Smith and Jones...."

Those are some vocabulary errors!

Those are hilarious!

Seen last night in a theater program guide as captions to brief descriptions of coming events. Correct spellings in the descriptive part, but the captions...
